Using our service

Heywood Removals offers moving information, customer and company accounts, and a way to manage move requests and quotations. Your saved homepage move plan stays in your browser unless you choose to share its details. Requests and quotations are not bookings, and the actual moving contract is agreed directly with an independent company.

Our introduction service

Heywood Removals helps customers connect with independent removal, packing and storage businesses. Heywood Removals will not perform the move, transport or store your possessions, employ the moving crew, or act as the moving company’s agent to agree a booking. Introductions are managed separately from moving bookings.

Your contract with a moving company

Any moving, packing or storage contract you choose to enter into is directly between you and that company. The company is responsible for carrying out its agreed services, its staff, equipment, pricing, insurance and legal obligations. Obtain its written quote, service terms and insurance details before agreeing the work. A personal plan or enquiry is not a booking.

Quotes, checks and availability

Heywood Removals does not guarantee that a company will respond, be available, offer the lowest price or complete work by a particular date. We do not claim that every company is insured, independently verified or reviewed by customers. If checks are introduced, their scope and date must be stated clearly; a listing will not be a guarantee of future performance. Any quote must come from the actual company, and its binding status depends on its terms and your agreement.

Our responsibility

An introduction alone does not make Heywood Removals the supplier of a moving company’s services or a guarantor of its performance. Moving-service complaints should first be raised with the company that supplied the service. This does not remove any responsibility Heywood Removals may have for its own actions, statements, negligence, breach of obligations or handling of personal information.

Rights that remain protected

These terms do not take away your statutory consumer rights. Nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit. There is no blanket waiver of liability and no requirement for a consumer to compensate us for our own fault.

Moving guidance and photographs

Checklists are general planning information and cannot cover every move or personal circumstance. Check specific requirements with your chosen company or an appropriate adviser. Website photographs are illustrative AI-created scenes and do not show actual customers, employees, completed moves or partner businesses.

Privacy and complaints

Our privacy information explains browser storage, private account records, downloads and normal website connections. Use “Delete saved plan” to remove the stored browser plan. For questions about personal information or a complaint about Heywood Removals, use our contact page. Complaints about an independent moving company should be raised with that company; this does not affect any claim you may have against Heywood Removals for its own service.

Customers do not pay Heywood Removals

Our customer introduction service is free for customers. Heywood Removals will not charge customers to request introductions or receive company responses. Any charge for the actual removal, packing or storage service is agreed and paid directly to the chosen company under that company’s terms. Heywood Removals does not take customer payments for moving work.

Company lead trial

The company lead trial includes the first three lead unlocks without a lead charge. After those three unlocks, each further unlock will cost £10, using one prepaid credit. This is a company offer, not a promise of three customer quotes. There is no guarantee of a booking, revenue or a particular lead volume. The lead price is £10. Tax treatment, payment, cancellation and refund terms must be finalised before purchases open; free lead credits are managed by the administrator; online paid-credit purchases are not currently available.

Important service information

Confirm the legal operator name, address and contact details, how partners will join and pay, any actual checks, how quotes are delivered, the complaint process and the final privacy arrangements. The final terms must preserve the mandatory protections and court rights that apply to UK consumers where they live. Obtain a UK legal review of the final service and terms before accepting live enquiries or paid partner purchases.
